two yes two things!!...

...this is waht i did lst ngiht two things,two what things what two things u ask....and i reply with a smile saying 'two baking adventures'
it ws whilst watching friends lst night i thought bout myq first need to try.cookies..yes so simple bt still a much loved thing wherever u go in the world,on the interent they are put through many strifes with people holding events and even simple challenges on there own to find different ones or too perfect them and find the best choc chip or the best coca one.some say they have found it and some are going strong trying to master the unmasterfull. its hard becasue some like there cookie chewy,some with a bit of good in there so have to cook it less,and some like them crispy,and then awy from the texture there are those that like nuts,those that dnt or will die of swollen throats if they included them lol!!,some like the oaty texture,some add fruit like raisins or cherries,and some like a syrupy one or with an added extra to ooze out the middle,there drops ones tube ones and freezable ones so many to chooose from with no many preference hw can u possible achieve the perfect one!!
bt i tried my first choc chip last yr and lets jst say it dint go to plan, i dnt no how i did them so wrong compared to this one,it cunt have been my like of expericence,surely i could nt have gone so wrong jst from nt trying them befroe,because the difference in the two was so diffierent,maybe the recipe was wrong hmm. bt waht inspire was seeing the many posts and the comments on there page and actually the friends episode..all made me want to make them these ones,do you no which i mean?
hmm lets go back to the days of old when friedns was on all our screens,and there came an episode when chandler and monica were engaged and they were getting there presetns off everyone,and what monica wanted from phoebe was the recipe for her grandmas homemade cookies,bt wait pheobe came back later saying the fire at her home had destroyed the recipe an they jst had this one cookies she had frozen left,and then later a sthey bit through tiny bits for the chef monica to dsiect the ingredietns down,joe being the foodie he is came along and nabbed it up much to there horror.and then it went on and it cam eout that pheobe pronounce the name of the person who gave her gran the ingredients as nestle' toulooose and onica hearing thise again new what it actually was..'neslte tellhouse cookies'and so this she could make as she chucked the ready made package at her friend.oh dnt you jst love it lol.
so i went for these.i always plan to buy some choc chips to have in the cupboard knowng they are bound to come in handy at some point or other,and so i had ought thise a wee while back.
nw to st yrs cookies,they tunred out with out vanilla bt strangels foreign vannila taste,they spreadlike buggery across the tin join eachother making thin things that kind of split so they had rocky roads and channels,so the checking when they were done prved impossible because the thin reveins were almost instantly. and they in the end got chucked away,also i didnt have choc chips then so i used cadburys which my word isnt a bad thing bt i dnt think i had enough to make them write,poo.
sweep that experiecne under the caret though as i stare at the ones risin in the oven into something wonderful because these were cookies might might nestle toulooos friends cookies ;

i was impressed.there were a few mishaps actually i lie jst one bt it was really a mishap it was mre a shit hw come you dnt get enough choc chips in a bag andluckily searching my choc sotre to find a big bar of galaxy to use which tuned out to make then cookies better because the choc chip were plain so the mixture of thise choc and creamy one the galxy gave in its chunks was jst delightful or so im told.
so off i went at 5am into the utility to the comp to print out the recipe,which didnt work coz we ran out of black ink,typical i know!!so i copieed or should i say scrawled the recipe down on a sheet of paper hortening it to wordly intructions that only i would ever understand lol.and whilst doing this i watched the helpful know how neslt videao to help with problem you may have or any troubel avoiding tips you may need which is a nifty little idea if i may say so.and then there is the tip i found which was if you dnt used nuts it will change the texture and overall shape of the cookies,common sense realy bt i had no nuts,and thekind smiling lady on my screen told me to have a few extra tablespoon of flour in there to make it the same.yay problem avoided good women on my little screen thankyou.then back to the kitch thanks goodness coz it seems like belwo freezing out in that utility.and to the baking.easy peasy is this recipe and if i had a good memory on my shoulder in this silly head of mine i wouldnt evr need to have a piece of paper again and so the human being with a brain im sure could quite eaisly memorize this recipe eaisly!!it was enjoyable too.mixing the dry ingredients simply two second job the only thing was opening the dam flour bag so it doesnt split down one side and spill everywhere(why are the bags like this,its the same with suagr too)and then there is the beating the butter with the sugar anohter simple tihng and because it was too ealry in the morning i did it by hand and i was happy doing this so that shows hw simple it is lol.you use white suagr and the packed brown sugar too,we only had light brown sugar which think was fine in the end,if we had brown maybe it would have added to make a slghtly mre caramlie taste which may have been that lst brilliance bt saying that im nt sure there is that much of a difference wt the suagr it is still quite brown one and there were no complaince on the falvoure either so that says it all,and the comes the eggs,(slight fear added hear as the mixture looked like it would curdle into my knightmares,thiswent straight away as i beat it in nicely)and then to the flour a bit at a time, id say i mixed in a 1/4 at a time as it said to go slowly,oooh this made a wonderful little paste and i could tell from here my cookies would be fab,this would be the moment my brother would jst eat it,ok maybe he would wait till the chips were added.
and the the choc to go in and the oven to turn on to warm.i had to chop the galaxy with a knife which resulted in the only pain of the cooking session becayse the knife had jarred on my hand from cutting through the choc and made it a bit sore bt who cares loook at my cookies man!!
so i mixed them in nicely scooped them on to a baking sheet(nt greesed,which i did lst time)and then into the warm oven to cok for 9-11 minutes, which i ended up doing for a mnutre or two longer than this bt i think this is because our oven is having issues with us at the moment and so decide upon itself when it wasnt to play a bakers friend.bt i followed the rule i see everywhre that shws a good cookies recipe,which is dnt over cokies the middle should like pale with jst the outbits done,and this is what i did,i think i could have even taken them out quicker than this and they would have been dandy.then keep them on the ray for a few minutes which is alwyasmentioned in reipe,then i transferred them onto the wire rack to cool, icannot tell u hw delighted i was with thse booties,i am simply smiling nw from thinking bout it,and my dad couldnt wait to have one and had one after breakie with his coffee,which made me very hapy and he said very nice. yay for me,and by the smell they look good!!so another thing to cross of my list of too doo cooking sessions.



nw to the nxt session, this has been a great few days eh?i nvr get to make all this,granted its nt much bt to tick two things off the list and to be yayish bout them then hey who cares. the second session came from the bread i made(from the to do list),it has by last night gone too stale to enjoy and what do u do with stale bed, do you chuck it as it hold ont ur finger with all it yeasty goodness begging u to nt abonden it in the bin jst because it doesnt have preseverites so dsnt lst like the store bough(it did that i swear it di,for dear life it held onto my little finger)or do you hear it cry and make it into something much loved and sweet as sin!! yes course you go for the seoncd one u heartless people.and what is this sweet thang,why of course a bread and butter puding silly!!
nw i have made one of these before bt i am always wanting to perfect and there were a few nutmeg isses and the custard nt setting right issue wit thelast one so i tried again,what i have learnt from this sessions is that i dnt think there is a right and a wrong with the amount the custard will set,because its equally as nice to have runny pudding one time or a moresticky one(which this one tunred out to be the nxt time)so all in a something leanr eh?and so out of my pit i crawled down the stair to the kitchen,cold kitchen shit,heating on sorted. i sliced the bread like the recipe said(quickly got this one off the web and typed it scawlingly in words i could understand form lol before going down)the recipe said to take the crust off bt i chose against this i though in my head as i always do(i imagine hw the dish will come out and als,mot bite through the end prouduct to think of what will work and taste bettr)oh yes hi my names odd did you not know lol!!bt i thought the curst would only add to the mix of spngy sitck bt crips falvour so i left them on,and to be honest the bread although left-ovr was running shorter than i thought at the start of this planning so it worked bttr to leave them on anyway.so i buttered the bread(nice thick splaterring of utterly butterly there)and then layed them into the dish until i had none left all the while using mre sugar cinamon and rasin through the layers and then on the last one mre sugar and a good good good shakes nutmeg.then to the custard bit.which i had to run upstairs to start coz i only copied down milk and cream and nt the measuremnt..poo face...so running back down i measure the milk out and put it onthe hob to heat through to scoulding NOT boiling.whilst this was happening i mixed my egss with the suagr which i also forgot to copythe measuremnt for and so i naughtily guessed bt hey did it and it worked fine thankyou eyes of measurement.mixed these until pale.....ish could my arm started to lose the will to hold on to my shoulder.and then poured the hot milk on top whilstmixing and putting the cream in too,and then instead of puring straght ovr the bread to let it set which i dint have time for because i was too inpaitent for, i put the custard back into the pan and mixed it to thick and heat it mre on the hob,then as it came togerh a bit mr i poured it back on,andim glad i rushed to the radioator and tried to wait as loing as i could for it it set together bit before i put it in the oven,it called for 30-4-minutes in there bt good job idint walkaway and time it coz it only need 20-25 before it was golden golden on top and crusty to boot,it looked wonderful and sent smells through the house!!of course it has cunk somewhat nw bt hey,and it has tured out great i think,this one as i can see without trying has tunred out mre sticky and slodge than the lst runy one bt as i said before there are different variations onthis pud so ihpe my family are in the ood for this one,they will have to see when they get back.

bt a great weeks baking knocking three thing into submission from my list,BREAD,READ AND BUTTER PUDDING,AND COOKIES.yay for me!!and everyone saif they were yummy,i doubt they would tell meotherwsie bt neither cn my dad keep a slight ooh aa in there and tell me what could have been bttr which he didnt so yay once again lol!!
