parties part2!!

there was always things that were a must..
like pass the parcel, one that was great because you could make up dares like spin round on one foot for 30 seconds, or jump up and down like a monkey and all the kids would laugh and have fun nt knowing how silly they looked or hw they would soon enough think thye were too cold to do such things and needed bettr dares like kiss a frog or wear your mums thong on ur head,to then going to kiss and tell and spin the bottle to even then jst thinking nope cant play that game nomr!!
there was of course statues where u wait for the music to stop and have to stay completley still,and musical chairs,(i think i could still play this game, im awfully competitive at it though so cousins on the floor are bttr used as it hurts last when i rugby my ass in there to get the last place)and pass the hot potato came in a few times too.
these games wavered with time though passing down from the elder sister doing her own ting to me and her witnessing my little bitty bro and his friends playing it and loving it!!
then to the organaized parties, i think i rmembr we were last to do one of these,or oe of them anyway,this happened often iwth us,last to walk to school on our own or last to take a snakc in,or to have our own money or take the mobile in to school,we were old style boring people whose parents needed time to catch up with what was coold and what wasnt lol!!
there was bowling a firm favouite by all,oh as long as the sides were put up on the asily of course, and it always mattered who you were nxt to oin the board, to hw you won!!weird.and then there was lazer quest also called qausar where we lived, you ran around with yourvests on(which were bigger than us hard plastic too) and the gun with the lasers front and side and the top up on the strip on the side. this was all explained to u in the little dark room before you were allowed anywhere(and where we also laughed because the people who stupidly wore light clothes showed up like a ghost lol)(good job noone had fake teeth then eh?)then we were tsken into the main area where we saw lots of huge black walls with graffittie lights and all that kind of thing,and the music came,and the flashing lights came and we started running,racing to shoot eacohter and the main bases for each team in the corners which were worth bettr points.
lazer quest would later go to megazone which was on two floors(oh aa get us)i think if we went back to either of them nw it would seem like a tiny room with walls we could nw see ovr lol, bt back then we loved it and it was the thing of the moment.especially getting the slip at the end too see who won the game,being first was like becoming the queen or king lol,and yes we got jealous of eacohter bt it helped if either a fellow boy or girl won.
this was the main two things that we did on birthdays, and when we had partys at people homes we got into the sleepover rituals and that was a different matter.
there was the early ones where we dressed up in our sister clothes,and made short films with the parent video cameras,and then there was the buffet which as i mentioned before must beat all our friends so we had to have bettr crips,better snadwhiches(like posh chicket fillets or nuggets not smart pirces ones)we had to have the bigger cake and sometimes got into our mums having to make a character one becasue there was nothing that beat a sunshine or hedgehog cake lol.and we had to have the big boxers of cadburys or selection boxers to win ovr the whole party,once you got them for midnight snakcs you had pretty much blown all others out of the water,and if you brought them out in the middle of the night to suprise the ones who thought u didnt have anyhting then gosh ur were the sleepovr dude of dudes!!and you had to stay up into the night wathching stupid t.v and cringing when u flicked onto a not so nice for girls program lol!!and then you had to watch the scariest film you could get ur hands on without letting theparents know what age it was,and had to get full on choc and other sugery things,then lay out the sleeping bags and of course it mattered whehter you got chosen to be in the middle(kids are so mean)because it showed everyone wanted you near them. and you had to stay up until you couldnt move for tirendess coz after iall it was a sleepovr why go to bed like a human being when you could go to school the nxt day saying oh u rembr five am girls like we had witnessed something special,when really the rest of the class were able to use there limbs and keep there eyes on the books when we could breath through usuing all our effort to foucs on the board. lol!! when iwas in the sleepovr yrs things were moving into a different sociable stage though and they got tricky and sometimes mean, using bithciness and coolness and stuff like that, which at one point caused one gilr to sneak away into her own room without theother noitcing i might add and one to even fake illness to go home.it was hard and pshh i bet mum nvr had firends like that lol!!


o.k i think i must go as today i had some news which was probably be talked bout very son,it was the er is finsihing for good CRAP.me nt happy nt at all how can they,i have followed it from the start loving each bit of it,and it got me through some times i tell you,sometimes hard times were made do able seeing this on repeat in the moiring lol,stupid i know bt things do what they do dnt they!!and it cnt go,i dind even realise the ratings were down!!bt if it is i mst soak up all i cn and must nw go to mre 4 and watch the current epidode in the new series.
