books glorious books and the new olive and good food!!

my fmaily have always wondered where i come from on the side of what genre of books, programs and often films i like. our family or all pretty steady on the i dnt want to efven think of somehting that could contain gorey bits nvr mind choose to seek them out to read or wathc, then thers me somewhere along the other end of that line who loves it.
now we must confuse this love for something than it is, i am nt a 'saw film' or 'chainsaw masacre' kinda of seeker, but purely the in the mind stuff mre phychological dramas ones that yes can have some discusting bits in them bt are mre to do with probalby mre harsh could happen in some way in real life, like murder, abuse and things like that you know i think that makes me sound worse lol bt hey. i am veyr interested in crime fiction and all things like that and there is nothing mre gripping than a good reead. when i get a good book im gone ffrom the world until i have finsihed, i get in with the characters, get to know them, laugh with them and cry with them allway follwoing there jounreys with enjoyment and aaaargh i jst love books.
my first evr experience with this genre was when i was at the weee young age of 11 i think and i bought my first crime fiction book(there are so many genre name though nowadyas i have no idea what it would come under) it was on our way back from skiiing in norway with the family and we were waintg in the norwegain airport(oh shite tears and sick gut feeling as i rmemebr the slight snow the completetly different clean air and the pleasant aura of norway and even its airports!!we had jst got a plate ofnorwegain hotdgogs(one of the only places we have found where you can get good foods from service stations because they actually do the hotdogs fresh to order..they are wener type ones that come with a very commercial bun those squidgy long ones that cna often feel slightly sweeter, cnt explain it bt i no what i mean.you can jave it with any saue and onios too and there also cheap.so yes all sat round the table and our newly arrive hot-dog and properly made hot chococlate, and i decide to go for a wander, a tthis age i was still coming to terms with adult talk and being able to sit for hours doing it, i was still young enough to want to be doing stuff all the time wandering exploring and nt being able to sit on my bum hearing bout current avents without thinking eh?so i waled off and looked at that ooks, and there screaming out on the shelf to me was this brigh orange florescent book.'tell noone' was its nice and i new straight away that i have to have it, you see the author everywhere nowadays and he always seesm to be having anew book brought our that hits the top ten list within days of it coming out.so i did my test, front cover back cover and th nfirs tage thing, and i loved it so i ran back and begged mum to get it for me, she didnt think i would be into the horror type stuff so she was happy to buy it.
the whole reading tihng is quite o.k in our fmaily anyway,me and my sister have always been big readers and she could get through lots of books in an amazing speed and nw i have gotten the mre solo role of that in my house bt she is in her last yr of uni so i think she can be excused lol!!.
i read the book with a bits here and there approach because at the time i ws getting hooked ino the harry poter ones and so had to finish them first. so the reading carried onto our nxt holiday in wales, where we couldnt stay in our fmaily home and so went to the a campsit eo the top of the hill jst odown the road from our place which wad being re-done at the time!! and i got hooked to the point of doing the reading, walking checking i wasnt hitting lamp-post stage,it was great i wanted to tell anyone who would listne about the man who wife was killed then came back to him via the cimputer and all bout hw he had to keep it quite whislt wanting to find out mre and the many typical chases and fears that came with the res tof the book.then it was all ovr for a while unti la yr later i was searching through a london bookstore when i was having a trip out with my dad and we were waiting for our film to start, and u stumbled across this book(i had by this poitn become a dlurker of the crime fiction asiles so i was soooo on my way ot becomeing hooked to them) and there in front of me was karen slaughters books, i dnt no why i picked this eones up, its wasnt particualr florescent likemy first one, jst blue with a pciture of a barbed wire cirlce on it. bt i picked it up did my test and gosh i wanted and must have this thing!!dad was in a must spoil her mood and so he asked the'will you get scared by this' thinga nd then i protested with my' dad drrr dnt be stupid i've seen and read worse' thing.so we bought the book.oh shit i later thought as i relaise this great author did a series of these books in this one was infact the second part, so alas my mum must by me the firs tone to read first, the wait was hard bt it settled me that i nw got another book and would be prepared when i finshised the first!!win win and all that eh?

and so times and many yrs have gone by i am nw and adult and still in love with these authors and a few mre crime fiction authors out there,i have seen afew amazing films in this genre and so am a fully fledged lover of all these things.

another one of my favourite is mr james patterson he is fantastic and its nt ofen that this happens bt i came across him when i saw the film that was made after his books!!'kiss the girl' scared the shit out of me bt gripped me too,and so when a lady i watched it with said to me' hey dnt you no this was a book frst and i have them all and love them' so of course she being the lovely women she was brought them in(my face shone as i saw hw many were alread published)and i was hooked, and there is nothing mre exciting to me than when i find an amazing writer that i can follow and get excited bout, and he was no exceptin adn i am still follwing the 'cross' series and now have moved onto his 'women murder club series, and will i am sure(as i have already almst cliekd by on some) i will buy some of his seperate novels out of the series'. so to the great authers that manage to suprise me and keep me sain i thankyou.

oooh i must add another lady too.. i have read some stand alone books which have been fab too by the way bt this lady is in no way a crime write or nt from what i have read bt she is hilarious and her books are beautfiul and gripping and nt one has been put down with a grunt.she is marian kyes and i love her style, and i dnt evr laugh out looud when iread apart from to hers and the other authors i have mentoiend so yes she fab.

and of course whilst we are on the reading topic i must mention soem dear friends. one that arrive on my door mat because of my subscription, that would be god food, ooooh cntwai tto look through with gusto, and the seoncd which i bought off the shelves with a flash which would be the new olive, ihave started reading the free attacth' chocolate recipe book, and of course tagged lots which i wnt try because im a wimp, and im sure i will be flicking through there pages very soon.
i ave also been nejoying skipping through old issues and finding page si am sure were stuck together the first tie because i nvr saw them!!bt even better because of the pleasant suprise i get from seeing them lol!!
